Voltage matching: Small-power units (≤30kW) come standard with a single 12V battery; medium and high-power units (≥30kW) use two 24V batteries connected in series. Mixing different voltage specifications is strictly prohibited.
First use: The factory battery is only pre-charged and will discharge naturally during transportation and storage. It must be fully charged before connection and startup to avoid weak cranking or failure to start.
Wiring requirements: The positive and negative poles must be correctly matched. Terminals must be securely fastened and insulated to prevent loose connections, arcing, short circuits, faults or hazards.
Long-term storage: Batteries self-discharge over time. Disconnect the negative terminal if the unit is idle for more than 15 days. For long-term storage, recharge once a month; increase charging frequency in low-temperature environments.
Effects of low charge: Insufficient voltage leads to low cranking speed and engine failure to start. Deep discharge causes plate sulfation, resulting in permanent battery damage.
Requirements for intelligent models: Units equipped with ATS automatic start and remote monitoring must be fitted with a float charger to maintain continuous charging during mains standby, ensuring instant startup in emergencies.
Medium-sized units (20kW-100kW): It is recommended to operate continuously for 12–24 hours and rest for 2–4 hours.
